Below are just some of the kind comments the residents and their family members have left in regards to our service.

To Jackie and all the staff of fairholme

Many thanks for all your kindness and the care given to Ernest during his time at fairholme. You have always been so helpful and friendly so it is with much regreat that we now have to place Ernest into nursing care.
Kind regards,

Brian’s zest and total passion for life – his positive “can do” attitude and his amazing ability to transfer this enthusiasm to old and young alike. Age had no meaning for Dad – he too, was ageless and it’s astonishing how many peoples lives he to touched. I’m so very proud of the way he lived and died. Sending you all my love and eternal gratitude.

To all the staff at Fairholme
We wanted to write and say a heartfelt thank you for all the wonderful care you gave to our Nan and Great Nan, Doris Gammon. Shes always spoke very highly of you all and we were always made to feel welcome when we came to visit her. We are particulary grateful for the kindness and compassion you showed in her last few days at the home.

Yours with thanks

To All Staff at Fairholme House,

Thank you for looking after Dora, our precious Mum and Gran. You have all made the last years of her life peaceful and comfortable. Your professionalism and caring is greatly appreciated at this difficult time.

With much Love

Sheila, Carole and Family

Dear Ali,

Although I have thanked you and Jacqui personally for the care given, not only to my Mum during her last few days, but also to myself and my family, I wished to put my appreciation on record.

From Alison liaising with the hospital and the GP, to ensure that my Mum would be able to return to Fairholme as speedily as possible rather than end her days at the Horton, to the young lady helper on the Saturday staggering up the stairs with trays loaded with tea, coffee and cakes for all the family, the cheerfulness and support given by every member of staff never faltered.

Chris and I felt that we, along with my Mum, were enveloped in a cloak of kindness and care.

I cannot fully express how grateful we are that my Mum passed away in her ‘home’ – Fairholme, surrounded by people who loved and cared for her.

Yours sincerely,

Maureen Woodcock
