Fairholme House is a substantial village house that has been sympathetically adapted to provide residential care of the elderly. Extensive modifications have been undertaken with comfort, safety and security in mind, whilst maintaining the essential charm of the elegant, mainly victorian, architecture and decor. Fairholme House is set in the attractive village of Bodicote, which has its own churches and enjoys a peaceful country village atmosphere. Bodicote is situated only two miles from Banbury town centre which lies off the M40 motorway, making visits and regular outings very convenient. |

Fairholme House provides en-suite rooms that have been decorated to high standards and incorporates many facilities to make life comfortable and secure. Whilst respecting individual privacy, care is always on hand at the touch of a button.

Although the rooms have been decorated and furnished,
residents are invited to provide their own furniture or redecorate to their own
personal taste. Residents may also arrange for their own telephone to be
installed in their room.
During the day, residents enjoy a choice of comfortable, elegant reception rooms in which to relax or be entertained. Visitors are welcome in Fairholme House at all times. Pleasant lounges provide a variety of facilities for leisure and entertainment including visits from local entertainers and musicians. |
The south facing conservatory provides a perfect setting to relax and make the most of pleasant winter days and the garden, specially designed with the elderly in mind, is an ideal place to enjoy the summer sun.

The building has been well adapted to suit the needs of the less mobile person, without altering its homely appearance. The radio controlled call system, fitted for all 22 beds, is unobtrusive and the modern fire protection equipment has been installed as sympathetically as possible.
Fairholme's caring staff provide 24 hour personal care in secure surroundings with dignity and comfort. All staff have a minimum of NVQ Level 2 training, Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, Moving and Handling, First Aid and Infection Control training. Each resident remains actively in control of their life through the care plan which is drawn up by them and their key care worker. The plan is followed by all care staff and revised regularly to meet any change of circumstances. Resident's medical supervision is provided by their own G.P.

The food served in the elegant dining room at Fairholme House speaks for itself. Meals are prepared by our chefs using local fresh produce and presented to the highest standards. Special diets are catered for and residents are invited to take an active part in menu planning. |

Breakfast is available from 6.00am to 9:30am in residents' rooms. Morning coffee and biscuits are served in the lounges followed by a three course luncheon in the dining room. Tea and home-made cakes are served in the dining room at 4.00pm and the three course supper is followed by coffee or tea in the lounges and night drinks are then available as and when required. |

Fairholme House is an integral part of a friendly village community and the residents may enjoy the many facilities and activities available.
Escorts to the local churches are available for morning services on Sunday and a monthly communion service is held at Fairholme House. Residents of all denominations are welcome and visiting clergy can be arranged as required.

Bodicote boasts three public houses, cricket and football pitches, community centre and hairdresser, all a short stroll away and has many delightful country walks nearby. Excursions further afield to places of historic interest and natural beauty are arranged so that residents can enjoy the scenery available in the Cotswold region. For this purpose, the home has its own mini-bus. Fairholme House offers its services to residents on a permanent or short term basis. The home also provides holiday, respite and day care. |
